Settling Back into Juniper Country

The weeks have gone by quickly and I have been traveling through many places. From Bend OR. the Deschutes River, to the Everglades and Ten Thousand Islands of south Florida, to the James River where I grew up, to the depths of the Grand Canyon for thirty days, to Seattle and Duvall, WA.,along the Snoqualimie River, to the grassy Oak Hills north Bay area, to the southern California Pinyon Juniper, Sage, and Madrone an hour east of Santa Barbara, back to Seattle, Home to Virginia, and across the country, bought a vehicle and drove from VA. north to Sandpoint, Idaho and back to central Oregon. Montana felt like home as I drove through its varied landscapes. Life seems to be turning quickly with constant change and a welcome feeling of lands far and wide greeting me each with their own touch and leaving me with their lessons.

I spent this past weekend in north Idaho and northeast Washington attending a workshop put on by Twin Eagles Wilderness School called the Sacred Hunt. The program went deep into what it means to participate in a spiritual hunting journey. See link for more on this weekend workshop. http://sulustu.blogspot.com/2011/03/sacred-hunt.html

Off to work a 50-day wilderness educators course.. Will update more soon.
